Over 50s show

The Over 50s Show, the lifestyle event for the Coast’s retired and older people kicks off this weekend in Estepona.  And the organisers claim there really is something for everyone at the event:

From coin experts to jewellers, and beauticians to golf instructors, a whole host of stalls are to be enjoyed by one and all.

Said organiser John Low:

‘This year we are trying to push the antiques side of the event.

“We have a real triple treat of experts on board, with Antique Roadshow’s Eric Knowles back as well as coin, medal and stamp specialist Mike Kelly and the guys from Anthonys Diamonds’.

Alongside Eric Knowles, known to millions for his appearances on BBC
TVs Antique Roadshow, The Over 50s Show in Estepona at the end of November will also feature Mike Kelly an internationally acclaimed coin and medal specialist who will be on hand to give free valuations of coins, notes, medals and stamps.
Commented Mike:  ‘I’m looking forward to meeting ex-pats and advising
them.   I know there are a lot of retired service people living on the
Coast so I anticipate great interest’.
Golf lessons

For those looking for more action there will also be a golf corner, offering up free lessons by Casares Golf Club’s Rob Green. Meanwhile Paul Agius will be giving bridge lessons and Jive Spain will be offering a taster in modern dance.

With hog roast available all day, there will also be a whole host of health and beauty stalls on offer.

All the free attractions which have contributed to the success of The Over 50s Show, and made it one of the ‘must attend’ events in the Coast’s events calendar, will again be in the mix.

The event offers the over-50s ‘a one-stop shop’ to get information on their physical and financial health as well as enjoy many of their interests and hobbies.  Health and well  being will be a key element of the event based on the well-proven premise that exercise, sensible diet, and regular, routine monitoring slows down the age process.
